My Brave Mother - At 6 Years Old

Since I just wrote a post about my father and a newspaper article about one of his exploits, I thought I would add one about my Mom.

Another newspaper human interest story that were published in greater numbers decades ago, this one is about a simple cut in the knee that most children incur at some time in their childhood.  Although she stated at the hospital that she wanted to become a doctor, that never came to pass.  Her last name is incorrect in the article.  In truth, her name was Muriel Williams.
